Struggle, growth, and mental health.
The Fog at Bay was a podcast that sought to amplify the voices of individuals from historically marginalized identities in academia and medicine. By normalizing these personal stories, we hoped to dispel some of the stigma that surrounds open discussion of the mental and emotional burdens imparted by pervasive, inequitable systems.
In addition to work on the podcast, I co-designed workshops on diversity, equity, justice, and inclusion at the annual UCSF Neuroscience Graduate Program retreat.
